I believe that the concept on wellness is different for everyone but during my years as a nurse and a nurse practitioner in primary care I have concluded that wellness means living well to the end of your days. This includes being kind not only to your body but also your mind – treat yourself like you would a close friend. Taking the steps now to make those healthy changes that can be impactful later. Through out this section of the blog I will provide information that will help prevent chronic diseases, discussed health topics and share some fun recipes. As always I have the belief that a person knows their body the best – so take the information that speaks to you and leave what does not.
